Author of Freedom at Day Zero, Climate Adaptation Specialist & Researcher
Olive is a force on the front line of climate action, leveraging her 12 years of expertise as a Communication Specialist and Climate Adaptation researcher having worked in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean, to drive meaningful change. Olive has dedicated herself to addressing the urgent challenges posed by human-induced climate change by crafting compelling narratives that amplify the urgency of the climate crisis and calling for collective knowledge and action to foster context specific, people centered climate solutions. Using a multimedia approach that includes poetry, storytelling, photography, and music, Olive creates restorative art centered on healing and climate action. Fluent in English and French, Olive’s works include contributions to Culture Push Issue 21: Community and Climate Adaptation and author of Freedom at Day Zero, as well as a Master's thesis on Participatory Communications and Solid Waste Management in India (2018).
